I have 203,000 on my 1994 SE turbo. As I recently wrote in when I passed 200k - now I can say 203,000 with no leaks, no oil consumption and oil change intervals of 3,000-3,500 miles using Castrol 10w30 dino oil - gotta be satisfied. At 1.30 a quart vs 4.95 for Mobil 1, I have saved about 1200 bucks, enough to buy 2 great sets of Z rated tires and brake pads to boot. Get the picture? Why change now? You can take your wife out to a nice dinner with what you will save on a couple of oil changes.
P.S. This is the fourth Saab turbo I have had with over 150,000 k, never had leaks, oil consumption or turbo problems on any of them using Castrol 10w30 dino.
