Curious, Joe, why did you remove your MBC? While lots of fun (watch it in low gears on wet roads) I am considering the same as I am getting a bit tired of fiddling with the thing every time the weather changes to avoid the dreaded fuel cutoff. One day it is fine, the next day a change of 10-15 degrees - frequent fuel cutoff. When I set it low enough to avoid fuel cutoff under all reasonable weather circumstances, the car is no quicker than without it. Also installed one of the forged BPV's.

Maybe the modified ECU is the ticket for a balance of performance and hassle free operation, too bad they cost so much. At least the MBC was cheap and easy.
