I'm honestly too dumb to know anything about the oil migration; sorry. You referenced in an earlier post you would check the engine manual re plug torque. Which volume(s) from Saab cover the V6? I ordered the Hayne's from Trollhatan and asked the parts guy at a Saab dealership which factory manuals would cover routine maintenance of the engine as I would like to order them and he has not gotten back to me. (some customer service) My cold start stumble has improved - now starts faster and begins at 900 RPM, waits 3 seconds, goes to 1200rpm and settles back to 800rpm. I had topped off the battery + two tanks of injector cleaner + 93 octane Texaco. I think the car sat on the dealer's lot for 6 months so the old gas needed to work its way out and whatever other issues a car sitting might develope. I'm hoping it will still improve.
Golf and car repair have allot in common; extensive equipment considerations, allot of numbers and specifications: 13.5 deg loft, 100 compression, 429yds par 4, 60 deg lob, 3 deg BTDC, .039 gap, 40 lbs torque, 10:1 conpression. Oh yea, and obsession.
