I guess this will give me even more clues about the condition of the O2. I suspect the O2 sensor is still capable in generating 0.5V in response to the ECU closed loop control. If the 0.5V is just maintained and no readings in excess of 0.7V are read using your suggestion I could assume the that the O2 sensor is probably faulty.
