Thanks Deam, yes the VAC lines could be an issue. I need to find the ones you are suggesting. I always wanted to do a Vacuum test to see the condition of the engine, but I could not find a suitable VAC line that I can use while the engine is running. I assume a vacuum test will show a loss of vacuum. The line I have in mind to use for the vacuum test is the one coming from the FPR (fuel pressure regulator).
I try the sensor resistence this should be quite easy.
