As Dean asks, your mileage will be a factor. A car that has been run on mineral oil previously has a lot of sludge etc that actually helps prevent leaks from seals. When you change to synthetic this cleans the deposits up and you often get small leaks developing. My 97 900 and my wife's Golf both suffer from this. A previous car I had had its engine destroyed when the crankshaft oil seal came out twice after changing to synthetic. It's much better for the moving parts, but expect a degree of seeping from seals.
