I'm waiting to get closer to the end of my 10k mile intervals (Mobil 1 0W-40 in the 9-3 & Mobil 1 15W-50 in the C900) before I use it, but it sounds exactly like what both of your cars need right now (see the link).

I'd use this stuff (see the link) with a good dino oil that's built to stand up to lots of abuse (like Mobil's Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40), then switch over to a premium fully synthetic oil (like Mobil 1 or Amsoil) that meets the Europen ACEA A3 standard. A premium, ACEA A3-rated, Group IV (PAO) full syn oil will prevent crud from forming, & will be durable enough to allow extended drain intervals of at least 1 yr/10k miles.
