Something I experienced recently. Public road. Right lane, I find out later, has to merge into left lane, maybe a mile ahead. Intersections all along, where traffic is entering. I've never been on this road, don't know I must merge ahead, so I enter the road in the right lane, where there is less traffic, and drive (and yes, inadvertently, not because I'm a pr**k, passing many cars in the left lane) to the merge point, where I, and some others, are castigated for merging too late. This is a real problem, and there needs to be clear signage ("form two lanes until merge point") to solve it. Relying on esoterics and colloquialisms does not work. btw, I am, conversely, the guy who just takes a deep breath and lets the cue blowers in. Doesn't anybody read Wayne Dyer?
