Maybe I am just anal retentive, but it bugs the H*** our of me when I see my neighbors using their snow blowers to move all the snow from their driveways into the street. Usually they create a huge billowy mess that they repeatedly get stuck in every time they attempt to drive into or out of their drives.
I take special care to try and place all the snow on my lawn or the grass strip between sidewalk and street.
If I didn't have to drive through the mess my neighbors create every time I navigate down the street I wouldn't mind.
I remember when I was a kid it was a huge fine to place additional snow in the streets where the plows would hit it at high speed. Risk of injury to the drivers and cost of damage to expensive equipment were reasons for the fine. I guess it just isn't enforced anymore.
What do most others here do with their snow?
