Coated brake rotor recommendations

I see various coated brake rotors available for our Saabs, some with a zinc coating and some with a clear coating. With the salt use in PA, coated rotors are definitely important. I have found that zinc coated rotors tend to show some rust after a winter or two, although they are far superior to uncoated rotors. Has anyone in the salt belt found a coating that might hold up for an extended period? I realize the coating on the braking surface is designed to quickly wear off. What I am interested in is hubs and rotor edges that will resist rust. I never wear out a set of rotors because they have to be replaced due to rust before they are too thin to pass inspection.
