I have used Zimmerman Z-Coat rotors and the coating isn’t bad, plus the price is reasonable. But after three or four winters some rust starts to come through. If it’s been a bad winter where they salt and spray salt solution frequently, they may show rust sooner. Saab rotors are variable depending upon the supplier, which seems to change constantly. I put some Saab rotors on a friend’s car last year (he preferred the Saab) and the front rotors have a nice coating but the rears are rusty already. I guess I’ll have to experiment with some of the other coated rotors since there doesn’t seem to be much experience offered from the Saab world. I have a can of zinc paint which I may use on the rotors in the fall when it’s snow tire time.
