I have consistently good results using Rustoleum Professional Cold Galvanizing Compound paint delivered via a retail spray can. The surface has to be clean. Use a couple of coats to achieve even coverage and let dry. Also retards further corrosion on rusty surfaces like exhaust parts including mufflers that need a bit of preventative touch up if non SS. Don't be alarmed if the coating is originally soft. In 48 hours it will dry to a harder finish. Works better than coated rotors from zimmerman. I always have a spray can on the shelf since it has multiple applications and has proven it's worth over time. Turn can over to clean nozzle before storing. Can be overcoated with a ...compatible... finish coat. Unfortunately, I can't recall the spec required for the type of finish coat since I currently use it without one. Excellent product at a fair price. In Canada, Canadian Tire, rather unusually had the best price last time i purchased a can.
