DaimlerChrysler has just announced the vaunted Mercedes turbodiesel will
return to the United States in future models. Currently the VW TDI is the
only diesel automobile sold in America.
Like all European car makers, Saab has a great new common rail turbodiesel
available in most models. I think it would be a great marketing move for
Saab to get those diesel engines to the States. Diesels have changed
tremendously over the years & Europe is now awash in this new technology.
(France is now 70% diesel) The advantages are obvious with exceptional
mileage & reliability. I personally would buy one today, if available.
Do it Saab!!!
