I know Saabs keep oposite corner wheels on the same circuit, but the job should be done with the ignition off. The ecm, or ABS controller won't be able to sense the bleeding procedure.
The tubing has to be removed whether the caliper is to be replaced, or not -unless you want to run the risk of kinking the tube. When you do this, fluid will drain from the caliper. A little will drain from the line -but it comes out quite slowly -you'd really have to leave it alone for a long time before it empties the MC.
