That is a really odd array of cars... You've got Jaguar doing the boaty luxury thing, the BMW 5-series doing the sports sedan thing, a 944 for a sports car, and the CoupeQ as the Euro econohatch.
You're really looking at a wide array of cars in terms of practicality, performance, reliability, and utility. I'm personally a little baffled as to what you're trying to get done here - unless you're just looking for a toy, I don't understand how you can put the Audi and the Porsche and the Jags on the same shopping list. They're radically different cars in pretty much all aspects.
The E28 is the middle of the road here - good driving characteristics, decent fuel economy, a good safety history, good reliability, and solid performance. But it won't offer the same comfort as an XJ6, it won't out-perform the 944, and it's certainly not as good on the backroads as the Coupe....
Seriously, man, what's your goal here?
