I have x-drilled rotor f/r on my 88 SPG, my 87 has just the fronts x-drilled but I plan on doing the axle conversion & will use x-drill at all 4 on that car to.

I still think it's weird that the back brakes smoked! 75% braking with the fronts & the back just doesn't do to much. Is your parking brake hung up at all????


I have been in that not so fun drifting mode in the 86 900s which I learned to drive in. With the weight transfered to the front wheels, it's unfortunantly easy to lock the rears up or start a drift with the back if you arent careful. Fortunantly neither of my SPG's have experienced the drifting of the back in hard breaking.

I would also highly suggest doing a drivers school. I did one a few weeks ago & it was simply awesome. Being able to push the car however hard you want & not have to worry about animals, other cars, people, motorhomes, etc. The next one is Oct 6-7 at Putnam Park which is 40 miles from Indianapolis Ind, DEFINANTLY make it if you car :o)

A520's are actually the tires I had when I had aero rims on my spg, definantly check out the Parada's when the A520's are gone, you won't be dissapointed :o)
