I weighed my OEM 15x5.5 rims with 195-60-15 all season tires which were a mm or so away from the tread mark. Their weight was 38 lbs
I then weighed my 18x7 forgeline 3 pc rims with 225-35-18 tires with about 500 miles of use & they weighed 41 lbs front & 42 lbs rear.
So the proper aftermarket rims can be lighter!!!!
I have monaco seats in my 87 SPG & they aren't quite as comfortable as my OEM seats but are light & hold me extremely well in turns. Next time around I will probably get the cheaper MOMO seats which seem to be lighter then my Monaco's & more importantly, more comfortable :o)
