solution to your overboost problem. You have something seriously wrong with
your control system now. The fact that you can hit boost cut-off at will is a
big problem. If you try to stop it by fooling the control system that there
is less boost than there actually is, by using a MBC, I'm afraid you'll blow up your motor.
My only idea for your over boost problem is a defective wastegate actuator,
since you said you have eliminated most of the other componeets of the system.
Have you tried removing the hose from the BPC to the wastegate actuator and
blowing/sucking on the line. You should not be able to blow air into the line
or when you suck on it, no air should flow.
You can check the wastegate itself by removing the clip from the actuator rod to the wastegate and disconnecting the rod. The wastegate arm should move
freely when disconnected. I really doubt there is a problem with the wastegate
itself.
You really must fix your problem and get the system working the way it
was designed before you attempt any aftermarket mods.
