I don't know anything about the 9-5's. If you look at my post you will see that much of what I talk about is very general.
Perhaps the 9-5 site will offer some interesting specifics. You might search their and then post some questions at that site.
If you have a T5 ECU, without an air mass meter, a MBC might work very well.
There are a number of specific things that I have recommended on the NG900 and 9-3 BB's which address model specific issues that probably do not apply to your vehicle. But a K&N drop in, cold air induction, and modifications to a restrictive air box are probably applicable to your vehicle.
I just checked out abbottracing.com and this indicates that you gave a T7 ECU which I would expect to have an air mass meter, however, they do list a MBC against it, as well as the modified ECU, and an atmoshperic dump valve, which alsoontraindicates an air mass meter. So this is ambiguous, but does suggest that a $35 BMC could provide some serious fun.
A search on the 9-5 site for MBC and dawes turn up nada. So this will not be easy. If you do not have an air mass meter, go for the MBC.
