As for the tank for water on the Aquamist water injection I just use the washer fluid tank and let it do both winshield and water injection. Using a methonal base washer fluid does the trick and no it does not clogg up the nozzle or damage the pump. Have been using this method for about 3 years on over 100 cars of all types.
As for expense, yes the are on the upper end but what it allows you to do makes it very inexpensive. The System 2c works very well for that usage.
We tap into the fuel injection siganl to drive a high speed water valve so that water flow is proportional to fuel flow which is proportional to engine load when properly tuned.
In about a week I will post before and after numbers on a 1999 9-3 that I have installed this sytem on running about 1.3 bar with a stock ECU. You might say that can not be done, it can.
