I did the same as you to get initial RPM fuel values to get me out of the driveway. At this point I feel as if I have programmed this thing 100 different ways, you can come up with several programs that achieve similar results.
After all of this, the main thing that I have learned is to follow the manual, and leave the default MAP values alone, as much as possible, make the RPM fuel values work with the default MAP values. Using a WOT run with no boost makes it easier to do this. After the RPM fuel values are right, you can mess with MAP values and ignition to improve general drivability and fuel economy. The main problem with this and I have found that it almost disappears when the RPM fuel values are made to work with the default MAP values, is that cruise MAP values cross the idle values. Messing with the timing alows it to idle in two MAP ranges with the 3 BAR sensor and one with the 2 BAR which simplifies things. Pulling in more advance at high vacuum and cruise allows me to significantly lean the mixture. General drivabilty is as good as stock, when programmed correctly, fuel shut off under high vacuum and closed loop operation is smooth. When you can drive it and run WOT all the way to redline with no boost in closed loop, you know that you are close.
