Ok well it has taken me some time to process all this info but its now there. The pressure regulator valve is it a small regulator like for a air brush gun? Where did you find yours? I have a AID installed now i never plotted a graph to see the relationship between boost and timing. Its been snowy and rainy here in vancouver the last couple of days. I would like to see if it is lenier, but now that i think about it when my car is boosting 28 -30psi the tinimg is retarted to 10dbtdc. When it gets there i don't know. So i don't think if the regulator alone will cure my problem. I may have to get a BTM. What i think i may try is to put a gauge in line with the aid to see what happens to the boost going into the aid. istill suspect in my mind that it may see spikes causing everything to fluctuate. I don't know? Because with what you stated that for example @14.5 psi your car sees 11dbtdc. well after 14.5psi it will still see 14.5psi even though your going higher. Ona stock system that makes sense but on a modified AID system will it do any thing?
Just more questions and thoughts, once again thanks for your time Kooch.
