Thanks, kooch. I'm pretty serious about helping this car perform well, even though i don't participate in this forum that much. Most of you know WAY more than me, so i'm content to sit back and learn instead of throw out half baked "performance insights". heh heh.
I have a line on a TD04HL-15T turbo from a '96 9000 aero, so hopefully i can put that sucker in and get rid of my boost taper and high intake charge temps. That's part of the long term plan along with a Viggen intercooler and a SQR ecu.
Right now my full mod list is:
-Eibach lowering springs
-doubled up rear sway bar
-TB Transition Casting dremeled out
-turbo silencer removed
-manual boost controller
-Kumho Ecsta 712 tires
-3" intake mod
-K&N filter
-2.5" straight through muffler
-TurboXS type H blowoff valve
-smoked side markers
-lots of black plastic painted to match the body
-aftermarket fog lamps
-refinished wheels (good god, what a job THAT was)
Although it's very, very manly to be able to spin my wheels with more power, I think that the handling mods have provided me with the most enjoyment. The springs kicked butt and adding the tires was great, but the doubled up rear swaybar was the icing on the cake. Those three put together are a really nice combination. And i think the smoked side markers might have added a horse or two.
Here's my car:
