Well, i *did* just have my valves replaced due to a timing chain incident (of my own fault). That was about 2 months ago. My mechanic pointed out that he had a tough time getting all of the marks to line up properly when he installed the new chain, but that once he started the engine they aligned up. Probably due to the tensioner taking the slack up. Maybe there IS something screwed up with the timing. I don't even know if it's adjustable past lining up the marks on the chain/sprockets.
The dyno results suck, but hopefully it means that i've exposed a problem that had to be fixed.
