Aero vs. SPG

I have an aging 89 SPG daily driver and am at a turning point with the car. The reverse is nearly gone and i can feel the first and second gear getting ready to pop. (I treat the tranny well but it's just wearing out). The car purrs though. I have an opportunity to buy a 93 aero for a song and would not be able to keep the 89SPG due to college. Am i going to be happy with the aero? I love the look of the c900 and I love how it drives. I don't like the rust creeping on me and throwing nickles and dimes constantly at it. The 9000 is less attractive in my opinion but I like the more powerful engine and the ability to haul more people in comfort. I also like the lack of rust and the newness of it even though it has 150k on it. I guess it will come down to the test drive tommorrow but I am going to miss my SPG. (have an 86 but that is getting sold in the spring due to no parking space) If anyone has any good advice on this problem. I would love to hear about it. Thanks for any advice.
