1) No, but I guess it involves clamping a test wire around one of the wires to the DI cartridge and using a lab scope.
I did incorporate the #15 and #16 wires for ISAT in the wiring harness, so with a ground and a +12V source I could use those for rigging up ISAT if I had the right connector.
2) Have an analogue multimeter, and a digital one provided it's just dead because of an empty battery...
I think it might idle OK at a lower CO value - the real trouble is when you rev the engine with no load at which point it starts to give misfires that can distinctly be heard in the exhaust.
