Hello everyone,

Well, after lots of thinking, i've decided i need to make one last final PUSH with my car to get it finally working right after my new engine has been put it. For those of you who saw my last post, you know it was getting less horsepower than stock! Unacceptable...

...so i sold almost everything i own... just crap that's replaceable in the future really, but enough to make $600... and i'm heading down to JAK's in NC on the 13th. I have no doubt he will get my car working the way it should work!

In any case... I've been doing a lot of part scaveging before i make the big trip down there...

I bought some SQR performance chips, a new DI/APC box so i can make swaps between 2 chipsets easily for testing purposes, a 3.0 BAR FPR, and a new pressure sensor for my APC system.

I've been thinking, that my stock t25 turbo has just GOT TO GO!

I recently aquired a brand new T25 turbo, that has NEVER been bolted to a manifold before, it's really brand new!

I was HOPING to get it converted to a t25/t28 hybrid, or perhaps a T3 super 60 hybrid... but the cost effectiveness of this doesn't really make sense, and everyone tells me that i should just go T3 or larger ALL THE WAY...

SO... i'm thinking about passing on the T25 as it is to someone who can use it. I've attached a picture of it if anyone is interested in how NEW is NEW!

in any case... what should i put on MY car? Visit the link below if you are unfamiliar with my cars mods...

Aside from modifying the stock t25 turbo i already have...

this is what else is currently available to me for turbos...

I can pull a T3 turbo and manifold off of my friends totaled 1986 9000 turbo. It's not as bad as it sounds though, the turbo itself was brand new only 6,000-7,000 miles ago... i held it in my hands before he put it on there, it looked just like mine in the picture... NEW! The exhause manifold is ok too, i had him replace his old manifold before he put the new turbo on, however he must not have sealed it right because the gasket would always blow between the turbo and the manifold... doesn't mean the turbo is bad though...

in any case... WILL THAT T3 from a 1986 9000 fit on my car with light modifications? Is that turbo even water cooled at all? If it is not, then can i diver the current water lines?

MOVING ON to option numero DOS! ;)

The famed TD04 turbo, available to me for a pretty low price, in a very nice condition... however i've never seen pictures of it.

It supposedly came off of a 2004 WRX... but i've heard in the past that a TD04 turbo is a TD04 turbo, no matter what car it came on...

IS THIS TRUE? can i use this turbo? Or can i use ANY td04 turbo for that matter without making any modifications to my oil and water lines? Is the manifold the same?

I've got 2 weeks before i go to his shop, if i'm going to do anything with the turbo, i've got to do it SOON! ;)
