HI TERRY!
Well, my goals have always been deemed "unrealistic" in the eyes of the people i explain them to... but here at TSN, i don't have to worry about that do i? ;)
With the modifications already done to my car, i would hope that Jak can get it well above 200 HP with some tuning, even with my t25 turbo.
How MUCH over 200hp? I would love to hit 250... as this was what the original goal was when i started this whole nightmare. ;)
If the T25 can support that, then I guess i will stick with it for a while, and see how well it works after the car is tuned.
I can tell you this though, i like the idea of the faster spool times though, because it's important to me to not lose the ZIP around town ability... you know what i mean? I don't think i would enjoy my car much at all if i've got tons of lag during around town acceleration. Most speed limits around here are 30mph, hardly any 45, so i'd like to ZIP ZIP AWAY up to 30 mph as fast as possible! :)
I was told that once i start generating more and more power, the poor little t25 will have to work so hard it'll be at risk for some type of failure eventually... but even considering this possibility of failure, i already have a NEW one as you saw in my original post that i can simply replace it with...
...so terry you've convinced me, and you've saved me a few hundred bucks too! I was all ready to buy another turbo before the trip down there! ;)
