to mess up. I would look at doing the same that Todd C. had done on his SPG. Cut the inner fender and poke the cone K&N through it. The filter will be behind the left blinker ass'y and the inner fender will provide a natural cold-air box while moving it away from the back side of the I/C.

If money no object, I'd next look at the Abbott chargecooler kit. Pricey at $1200, last I checked, but with air-to-water I/C you can get some serious improvements to the efficiency of cooling that charge air. System has its own reservoir and electric water pump totally independent of the engine cooling system.

I have an old brochure from Abbott (before the days of their website) and shows a cherry SPG with the kit. No other mods but the chargecooler and exhaust was bumping performance to 220.

With your current set up you will get some serious performance. Viggen killer (not to mention my Talladega/Abbott set up. Getting jealous now!)

(LOL! Still laughing about 130 on I-70! Near Monococy River bridge I assume?)
