I'm trying not to cut anything

Cowl induction in the Chevelle worked based on the amount of downward air pressure focussed at the base of the windeshield during forward motion. Apparently there is an amazing amount of air pressure there, and opening up the cowl to that air provided a big performance boost, much like the more obvious Ram Air scoops of the GTOs from 1968-1972, and the present day Trans Ams. There have been multiple variations in between as well (I think Pontiac made a Ram Air VII engine but never sold it)
Anyway, I was talking about maybe snaking a pipe down do the front of the car, such as near the oil cooler or something (like what they do on 5.0 Mustangs for air intakes) The pipe would feed back to a splitter pipe, blasting cold air right onto the IC, and then feeding air onto the air filter directly.
I considered the double vented hood option, but the brake fluid reservoir is directly below that vent (which is why Saab got rid of it. Water was getting in and damaging the braking system) Plus there is not enough air pressure at that point. Only the cowl would make sense up that way on the car. The way the Saab hood fits together would require some weird bending of the hood, which I don' think I am down with. I am not trying to make a shaker hood! Though that would be pretty cool.... just kidding.
Thanks for the vote of confidence re: my SPuG's appearance. She's got the much coveted whale tail now, and OOOH ain't she sweet! Blacked out grille, event painted the spark plug cover... lots of surprises for next time!
