Maybe there may have been a few "extra hot" HOT's that came out of the factory?
Rico, what is your VIN? Mine is: YS3DF55KX12026823. It would be an indicator if our cars were produced close to one another...
I believe you. My '01 SE registered 225 WHP in stock form and Dave had his Viggen there on the same day and it registered what you'd expect from a mostly stock Viggen (JR cone filter).
I was actually expecting to have problems as I added more and more HW pieces--I'm running a wideband 02 sensor and real boost gage off of the manifold w/data logging. No CEL's and both AFR's and boost are good and steady in all situations I've encountered. Running: 3" full JT w/downpipe, "race" intercooler, turbo inlet pipe, JR cone.
Last Friday's best 1/4 mile time (backed-up by 2 other 14.5x runs):
R/T : 0.458 (busted out)
60' : 2.264
330': 6.251
1/8 : 9.477 MPH: 77.32
1000: 12.209
1/4 : 14.530 MPH: 97.13
Run was made using 4th gear.
