Hi, I thought I'd get better response posting this here than in the C900 section, as many of you change wheels and modify the chassis setting. I just fixed up my '88 Spring Time Convertible (no badge) to road worthy shape and I'm doing on going restoration as I drive it every day. First thing I did was to change the wheel/tire to 16 inch Aero rims with 205/55 Kumho Ecstas (it had 15 inch SPG rims before). Now due to offset and softer suspension, along with trunk filled with set of tools and golf clubs with my 235 lbs fat body, there is only about 1 1/4 inch clearance between the tire and the wheel molding. Of course, even the slightest bumps would now scrape the wheel well. What shocks/springs should I change to, in order to minimize scraping and stiffer suspension? I think it already has the Saab road handling kit installed (std in Spring Time?) as the car sits nice and low. I would appreciate your advice.

BTW, I also have '90 SPG with red series springs and koni adjustables. Same issue there). I had a '88 SPG with Bilsteins and Aero wheels, but don't remember having had this problem.
