I can't tell you what I've done, but rather what I've got ordered and intend to do on my 91 SE convertible. I'm still waiting for things to show up.
Like many convertibles the rear is a bit lower than it should be. (gets that way after almost 15 years). I've ordered new classic 900 turbo rear springs, new bilstein rear shocks, and then some 1/2" spacers from sasab.com. I figure new springs will fix most of the sag, and the spacers might be handy too. It's probably got stock shocks, so I'm going to replace those at the same time, mostly to save time.
I too will be running 16" aero wheels with 205/55 Kumho Ecstas on it.
