although the flywheel is lightened, when the clutch is engaged the engine is turning lots of load besides just the flywheel so why a relatively small reduction in weight at the flywheel as compared to the total weight of the drivetrain should affect the turbospooling and hp etc i am not sure. makes sense it might help the engine rev faster at idle though
