I built my floor pan an trunk pan useing the bed of a pick up.The bed bottom of a pick up is made out of strong metal.I cut everthing a loose over to the inside rockers on the car, leaving the seat rails. Then I cut the metal that came out of the truck bed and jacked it up into place. After getting everthing to fit I mig welded everthing and seam sealed it.The trunk pan required some bending on the sides, also at the front and back.I had to repair the outside rockers they were rusted out.The way I did this was with aluminum flashing, for which I formed, then pop rived to the top of the rocker panel and the rocker ledge under the car.Next I fiber glassed over all the alumium and then bondo to get everthing straight. After finishing I had to put the car on the frame machine and make a pull down to get my fender lines right. It was a lot of work and time but I was in no hurry,And now my 1968 #720 is all done and I really enjoy driving it.
