This is the hard point to do,to keep everthing in alignment while welding with the car jacked up,so you can get around under it.I think were some missed the point was the strengh of the metal that I used for the floor pan. I didn't check the gauge or mic the thickness of the of the truck bed but it is very strong with the ridges and the thickness.I could not find a sheet metal shop around here that could make me ridged matal above 20 ga..That would not have the strengh even with the ridges that I was looking for. Like I said I had to make a pull on the frame machine to get everthing back right.
