You've got to remember that all of these measurementes are not 100% 
accurate.  What if you fill up a little more/less?  The meter that 
calculates the gas flow is not something that you would find in a 
super-critial machine.  The gauges are not completely correct; they closely 
approximate.  Personally, I think being off by only 1MPG is not too bad.  
But, I'd recommend trying it a few times.  Maybe you'll find that one time, 
it's 1MPG low, then it's 1MPG high.  Who knows.  But I'd be interested to 
hear what happens.
