Ahh, but when I was looking to buy the car, the dealer was very
apprehensive to let me see consumption and try the different things.
I guess, he thought it might put me off from buying the car, the
result is that a 2 liter 9000 returns 2 MPG better than my previous
home-rebuilt, 16 year old, twin carb 900.

Just as well I was not buying a SAAB for fuel economy.
