Jim -- I did and the news wasn't good. The larger calipers are the issue. While the 16" Saab BBS 7 spoke snow rims from my 02 95 Aero SW will clear the forward facing portion of the caliper by roughly 3/8" (enough IMO), I have only a SCANT 1/16" clearance between the side facing surface of the caliper and the inside surface of the spokes. So to make this work I'm looking at buying H&R Trak+ 15mm hub centric wheel spacers and longer wheel bolts. In doing so it gives me nearly the same clearance from the side of the calipers as the stock 17" rims and moves the 215/55/16 snows to nearly the same position on the vehicle as the stock 235/45/17 tires. As for the rears where there is no problem, I'll probably fork out the extra $$ for the 15mm spacers to keep the wheel track and geometry the same and keep the appearance uniform. Any thoughts?
