The best tips I can give are don't let others or the car wash to wash your car. Also, don't touch ANY paint on your car that you think would be too rough for a baby's bottom. It's gotta be soft and clean!
It is possible to remove the swirl marks but it takes an extremely good professional to do it. If you can find a place that says they can do it, go there and look for proof. I know it takes time, but it will be worth it.
Once you have it swirl-free, be very careful about washmit, wash-water, and chamois cleanliness. You'll still get small swirls over time just by washing it, etc but that's life. If you find a good place and have it detailed twice a year, you'll be a happy camper. Finding a good place is extremely hard to do however. Most of these places just have kids with orbital buffers and liquid cleaner wax. Avoid those. Best of luck,
Bill
