While the S4 is a fun to drive car, it does
not come close to cars that use more advanced
AWD designs.
As to the 9-5 Aero, it does not handle like
a S4, but does handle very well for a FWD car.
Once you're in 3rd gear or higher and above
60Mph the Aero is a very fast car. I have a 260Hp
kit also from Hirsch performance and it will
go 162Mph is need be.
The seats used in the 2002 Aero are Viggen style
and these are very good. I am 6'2 and I love those
seats. I have them as an aftermarket option from
Hirsch performance.
But apart from more space and a better milage, you
will be in a much safer and stronger car. The 9-5
is way supperior in a crash then the S4 which uses
the old A4 subframe.
And if you love AWD cars, why not get a SAAB and a
fun car ie. Subaru WRX just for AWD fun.
As to a new 2002 Aero or a 2000-2001 Aero and then
beef it up with parts which you can get. That's up
to your budget.
Regards,
Coolknight
