We tried both but ultimately decided on the auto transmission (we're both long-time shifters) for a few reasons: (1) My husband's commute can be long and tedious, with a lot of stop-n-go. A manual is a pain under those circumstances. (2) The auto transmission is smooooooooth. (3) I can't shift fast enough to keep up with that turbo! :-)
