Hi !
Simple questinon., but not so simple to answer.....
First, it is always better to take it a little bit easy the first 1000 miles or so than flooring the loudpedal "at once".
But on the otherhand, the testcars that we have here at Saab in Trollhattan get a different treatment.
Breakin period......what´s that ?
Even with this treatment the engines live a long healty life.
I have taken apart engines that has been driven by people that does´nt pay the gas, tires, or anything, for 125k miles, not as good as new, but nothing is wrong.
So, personally, break in period is what I recommend.
