How long (days/weeks/months) will it be between 115k & 120k? While I understand the desire to spread the costs out over time, I'm also a fan of doing things only once. I know the serp belt has to come off to get to the timing belt, I'm not certain, though, about any of the other bits.
I'd likely leave it to be done all at once. If it's a cash flow issue, maybe you can make a deal with your indie to pay him something in advance, or make an advance payment on your credit card, or something.
If you're not DIYing the serp belt & pulleys (and even if you are...) that's two times the car is unavailable to you, as opposed to getting it all done at once.
