I once fit an 84 inch laminated countertop on a 92 C900 SAAB 2dr hatch, a dishwasher and later a 250 Bultaco Metralla in a 9000 CS (with 6 inches to spare), a Kohler toilet in a 06 9-5 (trunk was tied down, not closed, but still, I got it home on my own, a 42 inch flat panel TV behind the front seats of the 9-5, the subsequent 32 inch flat panel TV was no question.
Last week I used the 9-5 to bring home a queen sized Select Comfort bed that was 4 large boxes delivered to my office, two trips with the seat down, and done. But I think the 9000 hatch could have swallowed the whole thing.
Still working on the Bultaco, but the Sleep Number Bed is great!
