My solution is to unfasten the right/upper motor mount and get it out of the way, and to jack the motor up (jack point to the right side of the pan) and this raises and slightly rotates the motor to provide better access. You can place some wood between the pan and subframe to better secure everything before you go sticking your fingers in tight places. My fingers are not long enough to do it easily another way that I know of. Make sure you get the thrust washer on the right way, or the center pulley will not align and most belts will walk off.
