the DIC could probably run a lifetime without any bolts in it! The rubber on the spark plug end of the coil would hold it all in......I would not do that, but those 4 screws don't have much work to do.
Helicoil is a very rugged solution. On racing aluminum and magnesium engines it is standard practice to Helicoil the major bolts. That way the big bolts will be steel on steel.
If you can get the helicoil out I would go to a larger size.
