Now it's looking more like a bad battery. Checked lots of things with Tech 2 and found nothing except resting battery voltage is as low as 11.7 VDC. When running the voltage is about 13.3 VDC max and often less, like around 13.1 VDC. Yellow light on the tester stays on. Tech friend of mine says when voltage drops below 11.5 VDC electrical problems can set in. I took the battery to AutoZone and they put it on a load tester and pronounced it "good", but the needle was on the edge of the yellow.
Drove son's '03 9-5 Aero Sedan and found that resting voltage is around 12.5 VDC and when running it's around 14.3 and doesn't waver like in wife's car.
I'll try a new battery and report back.
Thanks!
