"Certified" is available to any dealer selling a used Saab, no matter how he got it. The requirements, as I remember them, (someone will chime in if I'm wrong, I'm sure) are simply that the car still be under its original warranty, the dealer perforrms a 100+ item inspection, and pay a fee to Saab (which gets added to the price). Note that any repair to the inspected points get charged back to the dealer that claimed to have checked them.

"Lemon" buybacks are normally a reflection on the dealer attempting the repair, rather than the fault being beyond repair. There are stories all over of lemon law buybacks being great deals for the next owner after a more competent tech (or just a fresh look) revealed a minor and correctable defect.

Still, the pricing on this one suggests ample room for negotiation, IMO.
