David,
marco is definetly right.I was not found of cars at all before having seen 900s. Ibegan to dream about it. Then Bought one. I was not aware at all about Saabs and bought the first one I saw ( 'been little bit fucked on the price).Luckily it was a 86 turbo 16 Aero(one of those ameican SPg I guess);
It had 250.000 Kms on it, with engine rebuild at 200.000 , so you have to know something / on car this old ,everything will have to be changed sooner or later : So you'd better to choose one with many things changed yet !!
I would advise you a 2.0l 16V turbo because it is what had made the car famous.
2 choices i guess:
1) buy one from before 87, because thi is the real 900's look ( front bumpers )
2) buy one just before 93 because they are newer
yes, you will work on it more than you think because you like it, yes you will pass hours on this BB because guys here have the same vice as yours, yes you will always try to improve it, tune it ,give it more power...
BUY one, you will regret it
BUY one, you will not regret it
